BUILDING STONE
Stone used as a veneer product is increasingly seen in our area. There are several styles and applications currently on the market. Custom Brick Company proudly represents manufacturers that are paving the way in the market. Arriscraft uses a manufacturing process to combine lime, sand and water in compression to create a true stone with a 3 5/8 bed depth. The other producers use an aggregated-based material in moulds to shape the veneer stone pieces, except for Boulder Creek who uses clay. (Clay results in the stone being a little heavier, but also having the five-rating attributesof brick.)
